The Alaska Tech Prep Consortium, in partnership with local school districts, has produced a 5-minute DVD that explains Tech Prep through the voices of Tech Prep students and teachers. The DVD can be used at high school open houses, school board meetings, or other events to inform people about Tech Prep.

ARTICULATION DOCUMENTS

PROGRAM PLANNING GUIDES

Mapping out course sequences that make up a program can help students identify connections between core courses and technical courses as well as make the connection between secondary and postsecondary course work. Below are sample planning guides developed for Alaska Tech Prep programs and a blank form for use in mapping courses in a program. APPRENTICESHIP ARTICULATION AGREEMENTS

During the 2005-06 school year, the Anchorage School District developed a number of new articulation agreements with apprenticeship training programs. Their work was supported by an Alaska Tech Prep Consortium mini-grant and the results are available for other school districts to use. Here are two sample agreements.
