9th Grade - Bookcover
Many students who apply for baccalaureate programs, especially those in the sciences and engineering, are underprepared. Although they have met the requirements for graduation from high school and have a good grade point average, they don’t have adequate preparation for the degree program they wish to pursue in college.
UA wanted to do something to stress the importance of college-preparatory coursework. In 2007-2008, with input from current UA faculty, we designed the first book cover. This piece, while colorful and fun, stresses the importance of taking the right courses to get into college. It will be delivered to schools each fall for distribution to all 9th graders.
