EMAS Recruitment Pro Project

The UA EMAS Recruitment Pro project is a two-year implementation that was begun in Summer 2000 at the University of Alaska Southeast. Implementation for the University of Alaska Fairbanks and University of Alaska Anchorage began in Summer 2001.

The best admissions software available, EMAS Recruitment Pro (Enrollment Management Action System) is a PC-network, database software created for aggressive student recruitment. The software comes with everything needed to manage recruitment communications—from database management to telecounseling to state-of-the-art target marketing to timely management reports and tracking, with all capabilities fully integrated for maximum efficiency.

The EMAS Recruitment Pro software will enable MAU admissions and recruitment staff to enhance the relationshipbuilding capacity—a necessary foundation for the successful recruitment of today’s students.

UA staff will utilize EMAS Recruitment Pro to:

Manage their phone, electronic and written communications

Manage their contact database

Manage their telecounseling program

Increase the efficiency and teamwork of their recruitment efforts

Track and monitor student conversion and yield rates and staff productivity

Increase the quality and volume of their student contacts.

When the UA EMAS Recruitment Pro project is completed a data bridge between UA’s existing Banner database and EMAS Recruitment Pro will be in place, allowing for the transfer of student data to and from both systems. The EMAS Recruitment Pro project is designed to work in conjunction with the EMASAnywhereTM project (click here for more information), further extending the capacity of MAU staff to recruit qualified students.
