UA president Mark Hamilton hosts receptions for the incoming class of UA Scholars each fall in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Juneau to personally honor their achievements. We take photos of each Scholar with the president and post them online for download. This is a great time to mingle with the president and meet representatives (students, faculty and staff) from the three main campuses to learn more about the exciting opportunities the University of Alaska has to offer. 

We welcome and encourage counselors to attend the events and celebrate the occasion with their students.
