Our Mission
Our mission is to be a resource for, and a service to, the University of Alaska community with the goal of providing the best possible protection of University resources. We advocate and champion sound and proactive environmental, occupational, employment, and other business practices in order to safeguard the valuable human, property, program, and financial resources of the University. Effective risk management and environmental health and safety programs enable the University to achieve its primary goals of education, research, and service with minimal disruption from adverse events.
