The Portfolio Management Team (currently inactive) reviews and recommends priority assignments to ITEC about high resource consuming system-wide projects. The PMT also monitors the ongoing project portfolios of initiatives and periodically provides status reports to ITEC and the University community at large. The PMT makes decisions that correlate with strategic decisions set by ITEC and the University of Alaska.

It is the mission of the Portfolio Management Team to:

• Collaborate as a streamline system for recommendations and support
• Earn the trust of our patrons and colleagues through fact-based decisions
• Think locally,  and use Alaskan contractors and suppliers
• Offer transparency and earn accountability
• Complement effective IT governance structures at MAUs
• Realize successful governance will take time to succeed
