Degree
Programs
|
|
| AA |
An
Associates of Arts degree is a two year degree (roughly 60 credits)
that will: meet the requirements of NCLB and is most likely transferable
to a baccalaureate degree program, should you decide later to purse a
four year degree.
|
| AAS |
An
Associates of Applied Science degree is a two year degree (roughly
60 to 65 credits) that focuses on a specific area of knowledge. An AAS
degree, in most cases, will: meet the requirements of NCLB, BUT may not
always transfer to a baccalaureate degree. Check with an advisor for more
information.
|
| Cert. |
A
Certificate is a one year program (roughly 30-36 credits) that
as a stand alone program will NOT meet the requirements of NCLB
or transfer to a baccalaureate degree program; a minimum of 48 credits
(semester hours) must be completed to meet the state requirement for NCLB.
