Eric Scott began working for the University in March, 2014. As Director of Campus Life, Eric oversees staff and operations in Housing & Residence Life, Campus Recreation, Student Activities, and Student Government. He also maintains close involvement with committees, projects, and initiatives that impact the lives of students on campus. Eric holds a bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Education in Higher Education Student Affairs from the same institution. Eric is involved professionally with NASPA, Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education and The Association of College and University Housing Officers International. Prior to working at UAS, Eric worked professionally at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Housing and Residence Life. Eric has also worked at Sonoma State University in California and The University of South Carolina as a graduate student. Eric lives in Juneau with his wife Brandy and enjoys exploring the miles of trails, coast, and wilderness accessible from campus. He plays ice hockey in the Juneau Adult Hockey Association as well as a weekly game of ultimate frisbee with students and community members.
