Cynthia Rogers ​started her new role as Director for UAF's Bristol Bay Campus in Dillingham July 2017.She previously served in administrative roles at the Anchorage School District and as the Director of the UAA, Community and Technical College, Chugiak-Eagle River Campus, where she and her team were instrumental in the establishment of the first middle college in the state. Cynthia also held the title of Associate Professor of Business Administration.

Cynthia began her career in higher education at the University of Alaska Southeast, Sitka Campus, in 1996. She earned a Master of Business Administration degree and a Master of Public Administration degree in 2004 from Eastern Washington University. Her previous work experience includes positions at the University of Alaska Southeast, where she was the Administrative Manager for the School of Management in Juneau and Student Services Manager on the Sitka Campus, as well as positions at Spokane Community College and Eastern Washington University. Cynthia is a lifelong Alaskan, born in Juneau and graduated from Sitka High School.

​Cynthia is passionate about education, teaching, learning, and improvement of
​ ​educational systems to foster student achievement. She has worked extensively with school districts, local employers, tribal organizations, government and non​-​profits on education policy and workforce development initiatives.
