Transitions
Debra Williamson is currently working as a Student Assistant for Statewide Human Resources, Payroll Benefits Accounting, and Labor Relations. She is looking forward to obtaining a second degree in ITS. She fills her work hours with anything any of those three departments need done. If her face is familiar it is because Debra has been part of the university system in one form or another for ten years.

Nichole Merriman is a life-long resident of Fairbanks and has two daughters: Cheyenna is 10 year old and Acacia is 8 years old. In May of 2003 she graduated from the University of Alaska Fairbanks with a B.B.A. in Accounting. Nichole was pleased to join the Statewide Internal Audit department as an assistant auditor in December 2003. After 5+ years of working in various positions at the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, 3+ of which were in the information technology field. She says that she was ready to begin a career in the field of her education. Nicholes new position allows her to combine her accounting education with her previous job experiences at DOT&PF. Her future goals are to become a Certified Information Systems Auditor and a Certified Public Accountant.

Lindsey Callendar has lived in Alaska since 1990 and is a 1998 graduate of Lathrop High School. She attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks from 1998-2003 graduating with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Spanish. She started working for the university as a Student Assistant in 1999, and has been working here ever since. Lindsey is currently the Administrative Assistant for Student and Enrollment Management. She enjoys her new position working for Mike Sfraga and his team. She says their combined work styles seem to mesh really well together and it creates a positive and creative environment.
