OIT's Training & Development group offers professional development for UA Staff, Faculty, and Student Employees. To sign up for training select the name of the class below, then choose the date you wish to attend. A registration form will appear. Keep in mind that we typically require a minimum of four students signed up 24 hours before the class to hold the class. If the class size is less than four we may need to reschedule or cancel the class.

Class sessions held in Butrovich 104 may be made available via audio conference and Elive web conference software. To request this service email sytrain@alaska.edu two business days prior to the session.

If you are a Department Admin, TKL Admin, or Phone Book Contact working in EDIR you need to attend both the EDIR Brief and EDIR Hands-on sessions. If you are only planning to update your own information you don't need to attend the EDIR Hands-on session.

The TOAD Writer class is under development. As soon as the class is ready we will add sessions to the calendar.

We will not offer Banner Navigation in February; in order to devote time to developing the Banner 8 training class. If you need training prior to the upgrade; please contact Lynn Wrightsman at 474.6969 or lawrightsman@alaska.edu, to enroll in the on-line Blackboard class.
