This service provides technical support to students on campus having problems with their personal computers. Common issues that can be addressed are virus data back ups, part requests parts from vendors, hardware upgrade recommendations, and basic advice and guidance.

Service Users

UAF students.


Users of this service must be a current UAF student and posses a Polar Express card.

Customer must provide licensed media or hardware for loading or installation.

Hardware repair is not supported, however, assistance is available to diagnose hardware failures.


Student Computer Support Center is available at no cost to end users.

Get Started

Bring computer to OIT Support Center in Rasmuson 401 and Butrovich 102 or to the Student Computer Support Center in Bunnell 230.


This service is available weekdays from 8am to 5pm.

Getting Help

Customers request general assistance and report problems with this service through the OIT Support Center.
