Overview
Monitor server and application connectivity. Notify service/machine owner, as appropriate, in the event of problems.
Requirements
Service owner must maintain monitoring package for its services, provide DCO with appropriate steps to be taken in case of problems, and provide correct contact information for on-call staff.
Use must be in compliance with the following:
the University of Alaska: Acceptable Use of Online Resources and the
the University of Alaska Board of Regents Policy of Information Resources
Availability
Service availability includes evenings and weekends. Equipment and applications being monitored are subject to scheduled maintenance and unplanned outages.
Getting Help
Customers request general assistance and report problems with this service through the OIT Support Center.
