This service repairs and maintains UAF and SW desktop computers and peripherals. The technician's responsibilities may extend to deploying and configuring new hardware, installing and updating software packages, and troubleshooting problems to resolution.

Service Users

UAF and SW faculty and staff.


Equipment must be university owned.

Technicians cannot relocate equipment.


Desktop Support Services are available at no cost to end users.

Service is available weekdays from 8am to 5pm.

Getting Help

Customers request general assistance and report problems with this service through the OIT Support Center.
