Overview

Installation, repairs and restoration to cable TV or data cabling.

Service Users

UAF and SW faculty and staff, along with their affiliated departments or programs.

Requirements

For new installs and moves/additions/changes there are no requirements. For repairs to existing cable TV or related data cabling, established service is required.

Rates

For cable installation rates see the Recharge Rates for FY12. Repairs to existing cable TV or data cabling are free of charge.

Get Started

To initiate an install, to move, makes addition to or change an existing account submit the Work Order Request Form.

Availability

Once established cable TV service is available 24/7. Monitoring and maintenance of existing cable is the responsibility of OIT.

Getting Help

Installation and repairs service is available weekdays from 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, excluding university holidays. For trouble with existing cable accounts, contact OIT via the Trouble Report Form. For help after hours, contact the OIT Support Center.
