The UA Enterprise Directory (EDIR) is the mechanism by which University
employees and students are able to maintain their own Directory Records
(their information in the UA Enterprise Directory), including Vanity E-mail
Addresses (a nickname that can be used to route E-mail).
On-line directories are increasingly used by students, faculty, and the
public to find contact information such as office address, phone numbers,
and E-mail addresses. Future printed directories will rely on the Enterprise
Directory. Therefore it is important for employees to maintain accurate
contact information in the Enterprise Directory so that internal and external
customers have accurate information.
