Purpose
This document explains how to modify the Internet Explorer
(IE) pop-up blocker to allow pop-up windows from Banner 7. This only applies to
computers that have Windows XP Service Pack 2 installed (IE version 6.0.2). Older
versions of IE do not have a built in pop-up blocker. This change will not
disable the IE pop-up blocker; only allow pop-up windows from University of Alaska websites to be displayed.
This document does not cover other types of pop-up blockers
configured in browser toolbars such as Google, Yahoo, or MSN. For more
information please refer to the vendor help sites: Google, Yahoo, and MSN.
