Studio

Campus Technology Services manages a 134 square foot fully functional television recording studio.  The studio is fully lit for television production, offers three cameras for use, and teleprompting capabilities.  Other options include green screen capabilities, several microphone options including lavaliere, handheld, and shotgun microphones.

Control Room

The cameras and microphones in the studio are linked to the CTS control room.  In the control room, users can switch live between cameras, other video sources including SVHS VTRS, Satellite feeds, The U-Park kitchen, or the CTS routing center.  The control room also features an on-line graphic keyer.  Recording options include mini-dv, S-VHS, or directly to DVD.

Audio

CTS also manages a fully functional audio recording center.  The center offers a 24 channel mixer.  Sources include a high quality ribbon microphone, turntable, cassette tape, CD, and DAT players.  Any source can be put into a mix and recorded into the pro tools ™ audio editing software.  The mix can also be recorded directly onto CD, cassette, or DAT.  The center offers a recording booth designed specifically to enhance the recording process.
