What resources are available?

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) will provide short classes for faculty and support for TurningPoint clickers. We encourage faculty to take such a short class well in advance (at least two weeks) of the start date of their course.

TurningPoint clickers integrate with Blackboard version 6.3, and currently UAF is running version 6.2. Thus, integration of TurningPoint clickers will be possible when UAF upgrades to the new Blackboard version. Integrating TurningPoint with Blackboard will allow direct upload and download of student responses to the Blackboard Gradebook, and streamline the process of registering students’ clicker serial numbers. (The TVC Quizdom system accommodates CSV file transfers to and from Blackboard, but the level of integration is less than with TurningPoint clickers.)
