Description

OIT Telecommunications Services technicians will update the connection between the uchr-6506-1 and the ucwism-1 from 1g copper to 10g fiber.

There is no expected downtime, as a redundant link exists between uchr-6506-2 and ucwism-1. OSPF will reroute traffic to the redundant link while the copper link is swapped to fiber.

The physical connection has already been added, this work will include shutting down the 1g link,and than adding the appropriate vlans to the 10g link.

Outage window includes contingency time.
