Restart the A controller on EVA00

Scope

Restart the A controller on EVA00. There is an error condition on the array that may be cleared by a restart of the controller. This is a non-disruptive restart and all I/O activity should move to the secondary controller with no interuption to I/O.

The restart time should take less than 5 minutes.

Description

An error condition is showing the blowers are defective on the A controller of EVA00, HP support has indicated the next course of action is to restart the controller to see if this clears the error condition. If this does not resolve the issue, the next likely step is a controller replacement.

No service impact is expected. All services utilizing EVA00 as a storage source are potentially affected, to include:
