Actual outage should only be about 30 minutes. Additional time contingent on any troubleshooting of issues that may crop up.

Description

We will be upgrading the Licensing Service for ArcGIS to provide licensing access to the new ArcGIS 10.1 software that came out in mid-June. We will also add additional licensing for extensions that became available after the licensing service was initially implemented.

The upgrade will involve removing the older 10.0 version license server and installation of the new 10.1 version license server for allowance of 10.1 systems.

Affected customers

All system users that utilize the ArcGIS Licensing Service from OIT.

Customers can prevent downtime by checking out licenses before the Licensing Service outage.
