U.S. Postal Service to issue 41-cent commemorative IPY stamps

On October 1, 2007 at the Smithsonian National Postal Museum in Washington, D.C., the U.S. Postal Service will mark National Stamp Collecting Month by issuing 41-cent commemorative IPY stamps in two designs. One stamp will feature aurora australis (“southern lights”) and the other will feature aurora borealis (“northern lights”).
