Oral Presentations
Oral presentations must be created in PowerPoint format. We will be using Microsoft Office on PCs. Oral presentations will be aassigned to a Symposium time and presenters will be notified. Pre-submission of PowerPoint presentations will not be required, but we request presenters provide to the coordinator no later than 8:30 am on August 9, 2010. Presenters must bring their presentations to the assigned session at least 15 minute prior to the start of that session on either a USB flash drive or CD. The computers used for presentations will NOT have internet access.
Mac users: A MAC laptop will be available for your presentations. Please provide CD or flash drive to coordinator the morning of your presentation.
Although there is no limit on file size, please be prudent and take advantage of the numerous strategies for minimizing the overall size of your presentation (e.g., reduce image quality accordingly).
Poster Presentations
Posters assigned to the first session (Monday) can be set up as early as Monday morning between 7:30 and 8:45 am. Posters must be in place no later than one hour before the start of the session and must be removed by Monday evening. Posters assigned to the second session (Tuesday) can be set up as early as Tuesday morning between 7:30 and 8:45 am, must be in place before the start of the session, and must be removed by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each space will be clearly numbered with the abstract number assigned to that poster. Presenters are responsible for providing their own mounting materials (thumbtacks or T-pins only; adhesives will not be allowed). Each presenter should be present during their assigned session to answer questions. Poster presentations must fit within a 1.2-m (H) by 1.2-m (W) space.
