Announcing Google Apps @ UA

GDay is here... The University of Alaska is migrating to Google Apps for Education (or Google Apps @ UA, for short). Google Apps @ UA provides powerful applications for email, calendaring, online document storage, and personalized web sites.
The University of Alaska will begin offering services provided by Google Applications for Education. Google offers a wealth of powerful collaboration tools to use in a safe and secure environment. It is important to note that this is separate from the public side of Google.
The opt-in phase of Google Apps @ UA began April 14th, 2009. Those interested in opting for Google Apps @ UA can visit the Google Apps @ UA opt-in page to begin the process. All of the existing emails currently in your UA Statewide, or UAF email account will be automatically migrated to your Google Apps @ UA account as part of the opt-in process.
