Thanks in large part to your efforts, the number of Alaska's high school graduates who progress directly from high school to college is up 6% from a few years ago. We hope to continue this trend and increase not only the number of students attending college, but also the number of students who choose to stay in Alaska to earn their higher education. 

Because students formulate ideas early about whether or not to attend college, it is important for them to explore (as early as 9th grade) what their higher education options are. You, their parents and their teachers have a tremendous influence on encouraging them to seek higher education and what colleges they should consider or can afford.
