A decision was made in conjunction with the UAF Chancellor's cabinet, and the UA President's office to migrate away from using Meeting Maker, and making Google Calendar the standard calendaring application for the University. The deadline is set for November 1st. On that date, all events and resources must be booked in Google Calendar. All resources in Meeting Maker will be migrated to Google Calendar, and should the need for additional resources become neccessary, a request form to request a new resource will be made available.

OIT is currently developing documentation to assist with this transition. For ease, migrating during the last week of October will allow this transition to go smoothly for all involved. This way, it minimizes the amount of time of having to juggle two calendaring systems.
