Apple Mail

1. Make sure you Google-side password is synced in ELMO.

2. After clicking the above link, login with Option 1. If needed, you will be prompted to synchronize your password.

3. Enable IMAP in the web-interface of your Google Apps @ UA email account.

4. Open Apple Mail

You should be prompted to enter account information automatically. If you are not, follow these steps:

  • Press Command + Comma.
  • Click the Accounts tab.
  • Click the Plus sign to add a new account.

5. Enter credentials.

6. Verify the certificate.

You may be asked to verify the identity of the security certificate. That is normal.

  • Just click Continue/Connect to proceed with setting up your account.

7. Review and Create.

  • Review the Account Summary, making sure that the information is correct, and click Create.

8. Your Google Apps @ UA email account will now sync automatically. What you change on your desktop will be updated on the Google Server.
