Google Apps @ UA wants to collaborate with the creative minds of the University community by providing a showcase for local artistic talent. If you would like to create a piece of digital artwork referencing University of Alaska life that also includes a creative tether to Google, please submit your artwork here. If selected, your art will be displayed in the left hand column on the Google Apps @ UA website.

Artwork should be at least 72 dpi, 211 pixels wide and 380 pixels in height, and be compressed down to a maximum of 63 KB. If your artwork is selected, we will contact you within two business days via e-mail . At that time we may ask that you send us a higher quality version of the art for posting.

By submitting artwork, submitter specifically grants OIT a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any content that is submitted. This license ends when the artist specifically requests (via email) that the content be removed. Send any correspondence to google.art@alaska.edu

Artwork should be Google-themed, and reference campus life or upcoming University events. All of the content in your artwork must be of your own creation. Using other images without the express written permission of the copyright owner is forbidden. Submitting artwork containing copyright-protected work without proof of written consent will be disqualified.
