Employee Update
The employee update has been completed. This was a very time consuming project that took great effort to clean up. Thanks to Marc for all of his hard work on this cleanup project. All employees that have left the university now have a termination date in their relationship and constituent code in Raisers Edge. This means RE now accurately contains all current University employees so we can use employee information from RE for development efforts such as staff campaigns and employee mailings.
Over the next weeks, we will be continuing to update the information on current employees, add retirement information, move the time keeps to a separate attribute, create an attribute to break out minor campuses, and other general cleanup. The next employee information update from Banner to RE is scheduled for the first week in March.

Anchorage Statewide Offices Moving to Bragaw Office Building (“BOB”)
On Jan. 17 and 18, the UA Foundation office in Anchorage will be packing for the move to the newly renovated Bragaw Office Building (“BOB”). Relocation and setup activities are tentatively scheduled for Jan. 22 to 23. Staff may be difficult to reach by phone and/or email during the time of the actual move. Projects and work requests may be temporarily delayed during the relocation, but we will make every effort to respond to all requests as soon as possible.
Due to the phone systems being moved from the old Analog to the new Voice-Over IP, there is a possibility of losing messages in our old voice-mail boxes. If you need to reach us during the move – please send us an email. All of us will have access to our email during the move. It is the goal that once we are in the new building that telephone and network services will be functioning immediately. Telephone numbers for individual staff will not change. We appreciate your patience during this time and we will continue to keep you updated as needed.
For those research requests needing immediate attention David Woodley can be reached via cell phone at 854-3000.
