Freddie the FAFSA Fish, mascot for the February FAFSA Frenzy program was caught with a fishing pole and bait last week by UA President, Mark R. Hamilton.

A second note was identified as coming from Hamilton. He was pictured waving a note from the window of his office in the Butrovich Building. It is suspected that that is also where Hamilton is keeping Freddie Fish.

This new note is generally thought to be the result of negotiations between Hamilton and the UA Student Regent, William Andrews. The new note reads "At least two thousand or else..." It is again suspected that the note had been made by his granddaughter because it is in the same style as the first. The note is constructed from cutouts of magazine letters glued on to a single white page.

Students have started assorted picketing campaigns, in support of Freddie, at the  individual UA campuses.

Hamilton, the avid fisherman, has always admired Freddie for his grand size, coloring and shiny scales.

Freddie is a popular student mascot for the February FAFSA Frenzy.
