How do you apply for financial aid?
- Go to http://www.fafsa.gov and follow the instructions.
- Make sure you are admitted to a degree program at your campus. To receive financial aid, you must be working toward a degree or certificate program. If you aren’t yet in a program, you can apply today at http://uaonline.alaska.edu/
- Apply for scholarships also at http://uaonline.alaska.edu/, be certain to log-in first! If you apply by February 15, you’ll be considered for scholarships for 2013-14. If you miss this deadline, go ahead and apply anyway, as this will get you in the running for scholarships for the next year, 2014-15.
- Follow up with your Financial Aid Office (links below) to help you if you have any questions at all.
