ETT Subcommittees

Charter: Review potential programs, make recommendations for and facilitate the implementation of ideas related to faculty development in the area of distance education.

Purpose: To promote and encourage development of faculty who are interested in distance education as well as to provide ongoing support for faculty who are already engaged in distance education.

Charter: Evaluate the potential for integrating some of the functions of the Distance Gateway with UAOnline by leveraging existing technology to better serve distance students.

Purpose: Open a dialogue with key UA System stakeholders to:

• Establish a uniform method to update the Distance Gateway
• Enable students to register for classes directly from the Distance Gateway/UAOnline
• Expand other functional uses within the Distance Gateway
