The University of Alaska’s Creating Alaska project held a series of events from Nov. 8, 2005 through February 2006 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Alaska’s Constitutional Convention and to assist Alaskans in learning about their constitution.

Commentaries on Alaska’s Constitution
Creating Alaska provides commentaries on Alaska’s constitution that provide historical perspective on the various articles of the constitution and their meaning for life in Alaska. The timing of release will usually be scheduled to coincide with the anniversary of discussion of or action on that article at the convention.
