The Auto Reply function is not available in the portal. You will have to set an Auto Reply in your respective local web mail.
For assistance, contact your local help desk.
Auto Reply for Squirrelmail
Use the Following Procedure
- If you have not already done so, open the Squirrelmail website.
- Under the heading "If you have trouble accessing WebMail" click on the link to Usermin.
- Enter your squirrelmail username into the pop-up box that appears and press enter.
- Enter your username and password into the boxes provided and click Login.
- Click on the Mail icon on the top of the screen.
- The first option will be Mail Forwarding and Replies. Click on that link.
- Click the checkbox next to "Send automatic reply?" and enter the reply you wish to be sent automatically.
- You may also select a file to be attached to every auto-reply message sent out by clicking on the "..." button next to "Attached files for autoreply".
- You can set a minimum time between your autoreplies by selecting the radio button beside the "minutes" input box and inputing a number of minutes to wait between your autoreplies by selecting the radio button beside the "minutes" input box and inputing a number of minutes to wait between autoreplies.
- To apply the auto reply options, click Save. To exit without applying an auto reply, click Return to index.
