HIPAA Health Privacy

Final rules issued under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) require an updated Notice of Privacy Policy and Procedures.  You can find the updated notice here:

The University is required by the privacy regulations issued under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ("HIPAA") to maintain the privacy of our employees' medical information and to provide employees with notice of our legal duties and privacy practices with our health, pharmacy and vision plans and medical flexible spending accounts. The privacy notice describes your rights regarding your protected health information and how medical information about you may be used and disclosed, as well as how you can get access to this information.
