The University of Alaska provides employees access to health care coverage through the UAChoice health plan. Since the health care benefit is such a big part of our employees’ benefit package, there is a lot of interest in how the health plan costs and employee charges are figured. This website is designed to give all employees access to the accounting methods and information used to determine the costs associated with UA’s health care plan.
