Are you interested in a career in education, are you an education major or getting ready to graduate in the next year? Education majors are strongly encouraged to attend the Anchorage Educator Expo to learn more about teaching in Alaska.

The benefits of attending:

• 40 to 50 School Districts in Alaska are expected to attend the Education Expo this year. Aspiring educators will have an opportunity to meet school administrators, attend district presentations, talk with other educators, high school students, and education faculty.

• Several school districts have agreed to conduct Mock Interviews. These short interviews will provide aspiring educators and ed majors with a glimpse of the hiring process. These sessions will be pre-arranged and if you are interested in being interviewed by a district representative contact ATP.

• Career and professional development sessions will also be offered at the job fair. Topics include resume workshops, interview tips, and job search techniques.

• Featured Faculty members will be in attendance to share their research and books with aspiring educators and the K12 community.
