Board of Regents
The University of Alaska Board of Regents is an 11-member board, appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Alaska Legislature. Members serve an 8-year term, with the exception of the student regent who is nominated from his/her campus and serves a 2-year term. The Board was established through the Alaska Constitution and is responsible for University of Alaska policy and management through the University President.

Organizational Charts
Each of the 3 universities is its own administration led by a chancellor . The chancellors are members of the president's staff. Organizational charts are available for UA, UAA, UAF and UAS.

President's Office
A strong advocate for the university, the president carries out the Board of Regents' policies and manages the university system.

System Administration
A listing of system officers, administrative departments and functions, programs and services, directors and contact information at the statewide level .

System Governance
The System Governance Office provides opportunity for faculty, staff and students to interact with the university regents and administration to discuss matters of mutual interest.
