Partnership

The Municipality of Anchorage (MOA) and University of Alaska Corporate Programs (UACP) entered into an educational service agreement in 2005 to provide professional development for city employees. Training services UACP facilitates for the MOA include workshops, seminars, needs assessments, and surveys.

Of particular interest to the Municipality is the nationally recognized Certified Public Manager (CPM) training delivered by UA campuses statewide. CPM is a non-credit, certificate program targeting public employees.

The Municipality employs more than 3,000 people in administration, transportation, utilities, health, public safety, and culture and recreation professions.
