Nichole Pittman was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska.  She graduated from UAF with a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Accounting in 2003, and then graduated from UAF again with an Associate of Applied Science for Information Technology Specialist in 2007.  Nichole began working at Statewide Internal Audit as an assistant auditor and held the position of information systems auditor prior to becoming the director for Internal Audit in 2008.
 
Nichole has also achieved the following professional certifications:

2006 Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
