Maggie Griscavage is the Director, Office of Grants and Contracts Administration for the University of Alaska Fairbanks and is the authorized organizational representative responsible for negotiating and signing off on all sponsored awards to the University. She has over 23 years experience in post award management with a career that has covered the full spectrum of sponsored project administration at both private and state universities. Maggie has worked for UAF since 2001 and currently manages a portfolio of more than $160 million in sponsored funding. She has oversight of monitoring restricted funding expenditures, financial management, billing and receivables for greater than 1,000 projects.

Maggie serves on the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) national program committee, and on the Journal Review Board of the Journal of Research Administration. She has also attained professional designation of Certified Research Administrator (CRA) from the Research Administrators Certification Council (RACC). She is the UAF administrative representative to the Federal Demonstration Partnership, to which UAF won membership for the duration of Phase V, through 2014, and she also serves on various grants-management-related UA and UAF committees. Maggie has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kennedy Western University. When not working on behalf of UAF, she is trying to master fly fishing, and she and her husband may be found any place where the fishing's good!
