Lydia M. Anderson is a transplant from San Luis Obispo, California and came to work for the William Ransom Wood Campus Center in 1976. During that time she has held several positions. She was promoted to Associate Director in 1992 and in 2001 became the third and first female director of Wood Center. Lydia received her Associate's Degree at Cuesta College and attended UAF. She has been active on several committees during her tenure at UAF and the Fairbanks community and currently is a member of the UAF Master Planning Committee, UAF Food Service Advisory Board, and the Fairbanks Carlson Center Advisory Board. Her favorite activities are jogging, dancing, and gardening.
