Dr. Joan F. Braddock has been interim director of the UA Press since August 2008. Dr. Braddock served on the editorial board of the UA Press from 1998 to 2008. She has held several administrative positions at UAF, including dean of the College of Natural Science and Mathematics. Before joining the administration, Dr. Braddock was a tenured professor of microbiology at UAF holding a joint appointment with the Department of Biology and Wildlife and the Institute of Arctic Biology.
