Earlina Bowden holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a Masters of Public Administration from the University of La Verne, La Verne, California.

Her numerous responsibilities in this job include, but are not limited to: Supporting the strategic plan at UAF which demonstrates how gender, racial, and cultural diversity strengthen a university and society; assisting UAF in becoming the educational center for Alaska Natives; representing the university through formal and informal cooperative community relations and networks; and providing service to the university in general as requested by the chancellor.
