Paula came to the University in 2007 and has over 30 years of experience in human resources and labor relations in a variety of unionized public employment settings. She has extensive experience in labor and contract negotiations.

Ms. Harrison was the Compliance Manager for the Municipality of Anchorage. Prior to that she served as the Director of Human Resources and Labor and Employee Relations for the Mat-Su Borough School District.

Ms. Harrison represents Alaska on the Northwest Region 10 American with Disabilities Act Advisory Committee.

She received her Master’s Degree in Management from Webster University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science/Economics from the University of Colorado.  She is certified as a Senior Professional in Labor and Employee Relations.
