Project Description
The student recruitment process was proposed by an HR Redesign team. All MAUs support the concept and the UAKjobs Workteam has begun feasibility research. The proposed change will simplify and streamline the application and hiring process by creating campus based applicant pools for most student jobs and bypassing approval steps not needed for student hires. Supervisors hiring students will have a pool of applicants waiting to be reviewed instead of having to initiate a recruitment for their specific vacancy. Supervisors will still have the ability to initiate a recruitment for a specific vacancy if the pool does not have applicants with the qualification they are looking for.
Implementation is dependent on completion of UAKjobs Phase II.
