Educational Leave Imp 4- high priority Cross AP? 6-12mo Implementation of new educational leave program.  This will require 2 or 3 new earnings codes, 4 new job change reasons, modification of  approximately 15-30 programs, development of procedure docs, training MAU HR staff.
Ethnicity/Race Regulatory Imp? 1- required: regulatory  Cross AP? 3-6mo Federally required new ethnicity/race tracking.  This will require changes to Banner, UAKjobs, our data collection forms, several report programs. Scheduled start: July, 2008. Must be in place by January 1, 2009
Retirement Plan Mods for 403B Regulation Changes 1- required: regulatory  . >1 yr New plan document revision is being reviewed. Unknown impact on PBA and HR Systems.
PIA: Budget enhancement to help track position expenditures. 3- high priority

Cross AP 3 mo Adding the position number to JV transactions in the description field. This would require a modification to UAF’s current practice for use system wide. (PIA Recommendation)
Training Delivery Options 5-Medium priority . > 1yr Delivering new hire, new procedure, and ongoing training support through multiple means.
ADJ Run Automation-Phase II 5- medium priority ACAS 3-6mo Phase II of the adjustment run automation is to create an automated process for running labor reallocation runs and multi-yr adjustment runs.  Processes are run manually by HR systems at this time.
Expatriate Employee Implementation 1- required: regulatory  . 6-18mo .
PIA: Sabbatical Processing 4-high Priority . 3 mo Creating a non-cash earnings
code for employees on sabbatical would increase efficiency. It would alleviate
manual data entry each payroll cycle that is currently required to maintain employee
retirement benefits while on sabbatical.
HR Address Update via Web 4-high Priority . >6 mo Implementation of this recommendation is currently in progress and awaiting Clean Address problems to be resolved prior to moving into Production. Once Clean Address is implemented HR will be able to modify the Self-Service Module (UA Online) to allow employees to update their address online. Online address changes can then be transferred into Banner HR.
Tax Error Reports – SS, Med, and Fed Mods 5- medium priority . 3-6mo Major mods required to fix the social security tax error report for the MAU HR offices.
HR Metrics Reporting (Phase II) 4- high priority . 6-9 mo Development of Metric guidelines and measures for ongoing HR assessment.
PIA: Leave Earnings Code Cascade Fix 5- medium priority . >3mo Recommending fix to minor error with leave earnings code setup.
Market Adjust Salary Scale Process 4-high Priority . . Development of a process for market adjustments of salary scales.
HR Security Review 4-high Priority . >6-9 mo Review of HR security policies and guidelines and current user permissions.

UAF Parking Services Imp of New Software 6- low priority Cross AP

3-6mo UAF Parking services is investigating new parking software.  They are still determining their needs and have informed HR that if possible, they would like the new system to integrate into BHR.  Timing is currently unknown.
