Strasbourg PRIZE! - Musical Artist, Greg Baumont, in Strasbourg/France -- free mp3 download
Strasbourg is in northeast France near the German border. Strategically important since ancient times, it became a free imperial city in 1262, was occupied by France in 1681, and passed to Germany in 1871. The city was recovered by France in 1919.
Strasbourg is the ultimate European city with flavors of both France and Germany. Its picturesque "la Petite France" neighborhood looks like something straight out of a fairy tale book, a riverfront neighborhood with timbered buildings accented by colorful flower boxes.
The home of the European Parliament, this often-overlooked and surprisingly cosmopolitan destination hosts France's oldest Christmas market and features a stunning cathedral.
